Flew Dubai to Sydney on EK0416 on 20 October 2023. My husband was served the Thai Red Chicken meal an hour into our flight. He had consumed no other food for 11 hours prior. Our flight was delayed from 9.30 pm to 12.10 am take off. The meal was served at 1.00 am. One hour after eating this meal he experienced severe fever, nausea and was delirious.
We arrived back in Australia 8 pm 21 October and he has been extremely unwell now for 2 days. He has most slept the 2 days combating fever and diarrhoea.

This is extremely unacceptable.
