Sprint bill was disputed and removed

Enhance recovery months later since removed just hit my credit I am fixing to buy a house and in motion of building credit to do so. Credit report dropped over 10 points just today. This is such bull shit. I have had no reason to even know this was going to happen. Like they think I’ll kust pay it cuz I am trying to buy a house. My name is Angela 21112 Mockingbird Ln Spicewood tx 78669. My number is (512) 868-7309. Let’s get this company stopped I am in. Demanding Payment for Settled Sprint Account

I agreed to a Diversified Consultants Inc settlement for an old Sprint bill and completed the arrangement. I received a letter with my information from ERC today, offering a settlement in easy payment options, for the balance for the same company - Sprint. I owed $600 for example so DCI offered a settlement of $90 x 4 months to settle the Sprint account. ERC states I owe $333.45 and offers 3 options to pay the outstanding balance. 

This collection effort is unlawful, as a settlement is just that: it has been settled. There should be penalties delivered to this company for invoking concerns of fraudulent information being added to ruin credit/credit reports. 

I plan to consult the appropriate agencies and file a complaint against their practices. I urge others to do the same. There is strength in numbers.

Agreed To Settlement With Another Credit Agency AndvPaid

sprint bill I do not owe

Sprint bill made in my name at a third party store.The address 1323 w.fayette st apt 3b baltimore,md 21223 . I do not live there I live in my own home 22 years. 2606 cylburn ave baltimore,md 21215...I send in a police report too sprint last year on this same bill I talk the people at sprint about this 987.46 for over a year it was taken off my credit report and this company put it back on enhanced recovery company. so please contact me so we can go to count over this this bill it been over me long enough....My email address is..... calling for a man who not live here

this company keeps calling use different numbers called my home My phone company they said was scammers and for me to block them I do and they use another number to call told them several times this not the man number and the man in mental ward and owes no bills.they keep calling my number which is not his number ..this company needs to be stoped its scammers wonting money use it as deat collectors .numbers used is 800-685-3118 and 802-552-0848.. wish the FBI would bust this company of scammers last number 802- 552- 0848 out of Montpelier VT

Why such rudeness?

I work for this company. People pay and want that debt removed from their credit and the company only sends an UPDATE LETTER TO EXPERION, if that. Most of these people pay over the phone and are charged up to $12.95 per payment transaction and have the hardest time getting a Paid In Full Letter from the company which is really bad considering they never received a letter, only a phone call for collections. I know for a fact that they will get accounts from companies and try to collect on not only OLD accounts but accounts that have already been paid on. CenturyLink sent over a load of old accounts that should not have been collected on and the company sent out letters to those people for the money and COLLECTED MONEY THAT WAS ALREADY PAID. It works because THE PEOPLE PAY! Most of the time people pay just to have the phone calls stop or because they care about their credit and don't like owing anything. If they would say "STOP CALLING ME", that stops all phone calls to that phone number. Better yet, they can say "DISPUTE THIS" and that will stop all phone calls and letters. This is a private collections company so they pretty much do what they want. Only a hand full of the workers there are NOT ghetto and rude, even the management is rude...and GHETTO. I inform people on what their rights are and they greatly appreciate it. But I know the company doesn't. I refuse to help someone STEAL. If I feel something isn't right then I act on it. "If you don't stand for something, you WILL FALL for anything" so this stand my get me fired and if it does then at least I won't have any regrets. Its not a good feeling being ashamed of where you work because you have morals. I would rather work somewhere for far less money and still have peace of mind. Just remember if this company calls you or sends letters to you, DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A WHOLE IN THE WALL SCAM!! They have employees smoking weed and snorting coke on their breaks and the managers know about it and some of them are the managers. They even have meetings and once talked about how they are not a part of the "Illuminati" or whatever cult. This is a very unprofessional "LLC" and don't let them intimidate you. The trainer on has a high school education and pretty much just controls a slide show to inform new employees about state laws. Thats all they are concerned about. If its not breaking a law, they do it. They may fool others but don't you be fooled. I can't tell people all of this when they call and I just feel like people have a right to know. I would want to know and want someone to tell my parent or child.

Why such rudeness?

Years ago I had a Spiegel credit card... And like most women I used it! However, I was in a dispute with them at some point for fraudulent charges... after some time and a never ending battle... the communication stopped... I had yet to hear back from Spiegel. Turns out Spiegel filed for Bankruptcy. After a couple years I forgot all about it... no contact... out of mind. Yes... stupid me! It recently showed on my credit report that I owed so much money and it stated it was recent.

I turns out, my account through Spiegel went to a couple different companies before ending up at Enhanced Recovery. It is funny, I have lived at the same address for about 8 years and not once received anything stating my account was turned over... Again stupid me.

I contacted Enhanced Recovery, spoke to a Mr. Abrams... explained my problem and informed him I wanted to rectify this ASAP. A offer was presented however I can not afford $800 in 3 easy payments in under 90 days... .I stated after much back and forth discussion I would have to call back later that day and try to resolve this issue. In the mean time when I informed Mr Abrams I have not received anything in the mail or any such phone calls, and could he fax, email or mail me some information to ensure they were indeed legitimate... Mr. Abrams stated and I quote... "We have already sent you enough information" OK... But I haven't received it!!!

After a couple hours I called back, my account was placed with a 'higher up'... why I asked? ... because I refused to pay up. WAIT A MINUTE... I DID NOT REFUSE TO PAY! I needed some time to figure things out. After then being lectured about checking my credit report and spending money and taking care of my responsibilities... .I then explained I wanted to rectify this... after again much back and forth Carla stated she could offer me a settlement of 50% of the balance... Fine. If this will make it finally go away... so in the midst of the agreement... I hear a "uh oh... I can not offer you this settlement" Ooookkkkkkk... now what... "

I asked for their clients name so maybe I could contact them and attempt to work this out since I was clearly getting NOWHERE! I was told I had no business to know the company and I could not contact them. But it is my account with them???

So after a minute I was offered a 'hardship' pay off the balance in 24 months... OK FINE, Let's just get this over with. So I asked if I could have something in writing explaining our agreement and what the payments would be... no not allowed. I was actually told it was not allowed. I am trying to work this out and I can't have anything in writing??? HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING? OK, so I made a mistake, a big one but now I am trying to fix it. For my protection isn't it best to get any type of agreement in writing?? Anyway, I was told I needed to settle right now. I again stated I would have to call back. Why nothing in writing? Why such rudeness? Why? They were so rude, mixed my words and made me feel like I was a worthless piece of nothing because of a bad debt. You would think if they wanted their money, they would work with me a bit better. And get me something in writing.

I have the best cure for people like this when you are receiving phone calls for people that are NOT at the phone number they are calling. Tell the caller you want their full name is it is on their social security card, the last 4 digits of their social security number and their physical location.

If this has worked for you Steve...then you have been dealing with idiots. There is no chance, A: Someone will actually get that info from me. That is the job they do. They already have every piece of info. You confirming portions of it won't make difference. Chances are if your in collections then they don't want to abuse YOUR credit anyway. B: Like that would make any decent collector stop collection attempts. Umm no, get real. That is the job . Take a second and think why they do that, and if they didn't.

If you would take a few moments I could explain the reason for my call. Or you can continue to yell, we get nowhere, and your credit remains as tarnished as the day before.

Me: (please picture me sitting in my relaxing chair in from of my computer with a hands free headset, eating some sort of snack and drinking a delicious beverage In a AC filled building. Mmmm :))
Well, Debtor, you owe $$. (key reason why I don't want your identity or credit) how would you like to pay or would you like to argue with me again. (ps...we aren't listening to your bitching, lol were human not gods. I can barely take my own whining, you think I want to heart you Steve. Lol not!

Stop being difficult and it would be much easier and less painful to deal with. Aduh!
