Charged twice and not refunded!!

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is Felix Wavel Lasrado from India. I am writing you this email with regards to the amount deducted by your company twice from my bank account.

We had visited Syndney, Australia and during this period had rented a car from your company from 9th of August to 17th August. At the time of booking the vehicle on 9th August, an amount of $1037 = INR 55,251.56 was deducted from my bank account. We were informed that this is an deposit payment from which the balance will be returned to our account while handing over the vehicle back to the company.

We regret to inform you that the balance payment wasn't transferred back to our account and additional to that, an amount of INR 42,272.99 has been withdrawn by your company from my back account on 23rd August. More over instead of 1 day extra looks like you have charged for 2 days. We returned the car at 12.30,( i.e) before 1.00 pm on 17th August, amount charged is the basic amount as shown on the registration paper. That is 72 dollars, $637+$72 =$709.

Whereas the total amount deducted is INR 55,251.56+ INR 42,272.99= INR 97,524.55.

We had raised an complaint against this on 24th August 2018. We had been given 2 case numbers, 03322156 and 03322379. As promised by the company, this case would resolve in 10 days and the extra deducted amount would be refundable.

For you information, the amount hasn't been refunded as of date 10th September 2018.
Kindly look into this matter and revert to us as soon as possible.

Charged twice!!!!

I cannot believe that a company can make so many mistakes & not have any urgency to fix it.
I was never told that if I didn't have a credit card, which the deposit is only $100, that the deposit is $400 BUT they took it twice!!
On top of the hire charge of $118.10 as well as $109.00 for insurance???
I was charged twice & picked the car up Friday night & spent every day of my holiday in Darwin trying to recover my 2nd charge taken in error.

No one is helpful & you get nothing but broken promises.
I called customer service 4 times.
I emailed customer relations twice each day.
I called my bank Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.
I emailed the manager around 20 times from Sunday to Monday.
Tuesday I made the counter staff call her manager I had been emailing until he would answer!
He told her that he sent the request late Monday afternoon?!
I called my bank 3 times 11pm Monday night who all advised they had not received anything!
What a JOKE!!

Managers don't work weekends however the manager in Darwin worked a few hours Saturday & Sunday & both times I was assured my money would be returned to me asap.
All that was required was to send an EMAIL or FAX to my bank requesting to release funds BUT nothing Saturday, Sunday or Monday or Tuesday when I returned the car.
Nothing now since I have returned home.

I am waiting on $800 to be returned to me.
I had no money on my last day of my holiday, I had to borrow money to fill the car with gas & nobody could or would help me!
The chick at the counter could see I was double charged but she couldn't fax or email my bank without her supervisor authorizing it
WTF!!! They can take my money but can't give it back...........gggggggrrrrrrrr

I WILL NEVER EVER RECCOMMEND OR USE EUROPCAR. THEY ARE THIEVES, RIP OFFS, SCAM ARTISTS, FRAUDS!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.........Or be prepared to be scammed......I am just waiting for extra charges to be taken from my $800
