They say I borrowed money in 2012. I do not remember getting any money from them. They are now calling me asking for $1025 in order to settle my fictitious balance. If I don't I will owe 4 times that amount and it will be a felony. I must appear in court in 2 days. I asked for anything to prove I made this loan and they claim not to have anything to give me.
the guy on the phone says he can take $700 now and debit the rest from my account on Friday. I told him I had to do some research 1st before I just handed over $1025.
I asked to speak with the Attorney he indicated was there with him. The attorney was very rude and angry with me. He said he was not there to help. He was only there to try and collect a debt and prevent me from going to jail.

Do I have to go to court to fight this? Can they garnish my wages? They had my social, email address and old home address. Should I call a lawyer for advice?
Has any one ever fought this in court or appeared in court for Everest claims?

Who are these people. I've never received a pay day loan in 2018. They are on my credit report and I don't know who these people are. Do I need to contact my attorney or BBB. Who do I contact?

I initially borrowed $300 from this company, I paid back every penny I owed, as they were drafting it from my account, then I get a call saying I never repayed. I ended up paying them almost $900 for a $300 loan. And then today out of no where, I get a call from this "recovery" place saying I owe them $1400. They make threats to come to my house or place of employment to "serve" me court papers. GTFOH! They WILL not get another penny from me

I filed for Bankruptcy in September 2013 and it was granted in December 2013. I have received calls from Four Star Management in regards to recovery of a bad check. This company, Everest Cash Advance, was included in the bankruptcy as well as there was never a "bad check". When I told the individual, John, on the other end of the line this information he said, "you cannot file bankruptcy on this company". I have contacted my bankruptcy attorney on the matter and there is legal recourse for me. This is a total scam company and in fact I have talked to a clearinghouse company that regulates Payday loan companies and was told they have many, many phone calls in regards to Everest. They threaten legal actions thru a third party when in fact, they are breaking the law in regards to pursuing collection after a bankruptcy. Beware of this company. They need to be taken to task on their business practices.

I never aplied for this loan and now they are saying they are pressing criminal charges against me?

The problem I am having is also the same as above. The only difference is I did NOT apply for this loan. I do not get payday loans because of all the scams. But I am a VICTIM. I am a mother of two little boys and work very hard for what i have. For someone to come and take that from me without an explanation. Everest can get your information from " piggy backing" on any market research company. They are very sneaky with there actions. I have asked for license verification,IP address from where the " application" was processed. Now, all of a sudden they can't give me that information. REALLY? WHY? If I have anything to do with it I will research and come up with a solution for these people to be held accountable for what they've done.

I have used this company for a loan on 2 seperate occasions. I paid them back both times. they only took out what they were suppos to. The only problem I have is they keep calling offering more loans.

I agree with neaster. I've gotten 2 loans from this company. Both times I paid them back just what they asked for. The only problem I have with them is they call me all the time for a new loan.

Total Recovery is actually a 3rd Party Debt Collector. When you don't pay back your loan from Everest, that is who your account will be turned over to for collection. They can legally collect debt from you - even take you to court to recover the fees you owe.

After taking a $300 cash advance in July, and were told the finance charge would be $45, $90 per pay period (2X mo) has been debited 6 times! I cannot find the paperwork, no emails about how to pay off, who to contact, and finally got hold of someone today by phone, and was told the payoff this week will be $345 (and that they are "discounting" it for me is the claim now when asked why $45 fee this time instead of the $90!). I have used other such companies, and at least they put some towards the principal after 5 payments, plus send reminders every time with payoff, interest, etc. If you need to use one of these types of companies, DON"T use this one!

this company is nothing but scammers. i got desperate for a 350 loan and they said they deposited it that my bank was holding it . i called my bank and was told they rejected it cuz these idiots didn't have the last 4 digits of the account, so i go thru hell with explaining and holding and frustrations. then on day 4 of the same day cash loan i get some lady saying that they cant do anything until the rejected deposit gets back to them and then they will do a new loan and they need all kinds of crazy stuff to approve it...i told them that i will talk negative about them til i die. i hope all the people that work there have financial trouble and loose their cars, jobs and homes. i could have done something else in the 4 days of my life that they wasted. for Clarence i hope you stop being deceitful and for Ashley k who wouldn't get on the phone and them all of the sudden wasn't there...i wish you only ill will. LIARS, SCAMMERS AND DARK HEARTED OXYGEN THIEVES!!!
