Horrible customer service!
My wife and I booked an "all-inclusive" vacation through Expedia and paid their advertised double-occupancy rate. When we arrived we discovered that other people were sharing our room (Really?). Even though I already paid Expedia for a room, I paid another $1000 to the hotel for us to have a private room. I assumed it would be easy to fix the obvious error when we got home. NOPE! Even though we paid the double occupancy rate (I thought that double occupancy means two), according to Expedia they did not make any error so are not responsible. My point about the definition of "double occupy" is completely ignored as is my concern and me as a customer. After researching Expedia, it seems that refusing any responsibility then ignoring the customer until they give up is their MO. I can't believe they stay in business behaving so unethically.
