Refused a refund/return on damaged item
I ordered a filing cabinet. The item arrived damaged. Several panels had large dints and scratches. It was not obvious from the price point comparison or the ad that it was not assembled. There was a small line at the bottom of the ad that said assembly instructions included. The dints in joints meant it appeared unlikely to fit together. When I called I was advised that a refund was available to me, but I indicated that as I had paid $50 for delivery I was not happy to pay this again ($100 in total on shipping) to resolve the issue as it was their faulty item and the damage did not occur in transit as the box was undamaged upon arrival.
The company would not offer a refund even though the item was unusable and damaged and not as described under consumer law. I offered to physically return the item to their warehouse but they would not allow it. They offered to replace the damaged panels, which left me to dispose of bulky bits of scrap metal. The instructions are a terrible, generic one page diagram with no words. We have searched for videos online, and the instructions we've been provided appear to be deliberately vague as they have multiple models of cabinets. After wasting the better part of an afternoon and it still being an ongoing project I can tell you that I am extremely dissatisfied with this product, this company's ethical response regarding this issue with a faulty product and their adherence to Australian consumer law standards.

My name is Kristy. I ordered a kids jeep racing car bed from factory fast. After i paid i hadnt heard anyyhing for a week. They then finally emailed me and told me the bed was no longer in stock. They said they would refund my $246 (plus postage) within 3 - 7 working days and yo let them know if i didnt recieve it after 5 days. Its been day 5 and still nothing. I want my money back now so i can order a new one for my sons 4th Birthday. Factory fast my foot. Never again.
