Regarding the Singapore-based training company, fdbsg (check out their web site via a google search), I was contacted awhile back by Gayathirie Raman, Corporate Training Executive, Mail:

soliciting my services as an independent contractor trainer about submitting a proposal for future training in Kuala Lampur Malaysia. They contacted me again on July 26, 2017, indicating that their UK trainer had bailed and would I provide his training for August 2-4, 2017, with a payment and other terms proposed compensation. Due to the lack of notice for a full three day training, I countered asking for a few expanded terms (comp and expenses covered plus specific airline consideration); before I heard back from them, I discovered this Complaint Blog, which definitely raised many red flags, due to others' poor experiences in receiving payments, so I recontacted them, and respectfully shared the blog link, with a request that I be paid upfront for agreed upon training 48 hours prior to boarding a flight on Monday next week, due to the very short notice etc. Once they received my emails, which were definitely respectful and professional, they never responded back.
In all fairness, it does seem that this company has provided real trainings in the past, using many solid trainers. However, the sheer volume of complaints indicating lack of payments to these trainers plus issues with training attendees getting refunds, plus the additional information saying that some of the firm staff keep shifting names, never answer calls or emails, and some trainers have had to hire attorneys to attempt fee collections, inspired me to create this post. I am not saying never use them, but I am saying be very cautious and do your due diligence. It is too bad as I am a good trainer and would have really enjoyed doing their training for them.
