Order not received

Package was sent to me Fedex but it was to be sent UPS according to Ebay shipping agreement. I had a bad experience with FedEX in the recent past and swore I wouldn't ship through them. But I had no choice I was the receiver.

Package delivery time was of issue so I went online to change delivery time to evening as I work all day. Low and behold there was a $5.25 cent charge. They put the pinch on me. I guess it was my turn to get charged something. UPS doesn't charge such a fee, they try to deliver in the morning and if you're not at home they try in the evening next time around. .

In order to change the time you have to provide them with ID information. Your name and email isn't enough as if someone would have stole your email log in and your tracking number.

So, here's were it gets creepy, Fedex has a company do a background check on you while you are online. They asked me for my DOB then they wanted to know if I knew a particular person by name. They presented me with my brother's name. I have been estranged from my brother for over eight years and we have not shared an address since we were younger than 17 years old. I'm in my 60s. HOW DID THEY GET HIS NAME? They also wanted my home number which I just opted out. All this to verify they were connected with me...the package receiver. Now check this out. You can also opt to have a card sent to you with an access code to change your delivery time online. They send it to your address. LMAO! They trust the USPS to deliver the card with your access code. I guess it's not that important as they use regular mail...NO Background check here. I'm surprised they don't deliver it to your mailbox using their super secure service FEDEX. It will take three to five days for my post card with my access code to arrive super secure via USPS. This misses my delivery date. I now have to pick up my package over 30 minutes away. Horrible service.

Despite given a freight quote I was charged 100% over the quote. DESPITE providing correct weight and dimensions to FedEx freght I was charged 40 pounds over the actual weight even thought the package was initially weighed at a fed ex office
