Fitness 19 is continuing to bill my account since Febr. But they are closed.
Called customer care. What a joke.
Somebody needs to whip some bad shit on these assholes.
They can't cancel my membership. Told me to go to the gym they are closed
Refuse to refund money they have been charging. I am going yo the bank
to stop more bleeding.
Very pissed off. We should all get together in person to extract justice.

personal trainer behavior

I have been a member of Fitness 19 Pleasanton for several years. In general, really pleased with amenities and staff in this location.

However, one of your personal trainers , Aliona, has been habitually treating me in a way I find to be insulting and uncalled for. She has made comments (Jesus Christ) and facial gestures (rolling eyes, disdainful looks), has purposely impeded my movement around the gym, and the like, of a nature I find to be inappropriate for a health club employee.

I am a 72 year old physically disabled male, I cannot comprehend how a young, good looking, in shape female, especially a personal trainer, can derive any benefit or advantage with this kind of treatment.

I am afflicted with degenerative arthritis, have difficulty with range of motion, balance, walking and generally getting around the gym. I cannot help it if she feels I don’t move fast enough, or get in her way, or in any way fail to perform up to her expectations. But I do feel that in her line of work, an understanding of all body types, physical abilities, ages and personalities is essential to effective job performance. Unfortunately this has not be the case with her.

I have spoken to two managers about this, both of whom knew who I was referring to without mentioning names, so evidently I am not the only one who has voiced concerns. Both indicated they would speak to her, apparently without result.

It gives me no pleasure to make this complaint but after considering the situation for some time, I feel it is serious enough to pursue. I have already cancelled my membership, in part because I do not appreciate the way this employee treats me. In addition, there could be legal as well as civl rights issues involved being as how I am disabled and a senior citizen…

Refusal to Close Account

Seven years ago, I stopped by and opened a membership with Fitness 19 in Wildomar, CA. I am disabled, but thought I would be able to do some of the exercise equipment. I never went back because I had to travel back and forth to Ohio to care for my mother. I have been trying to cancel this membership for 7 years. I called, sent letters both to the Wildomar location and faxed copies to the Corporate office. When I told them I was in Ohio and could not use this membership and wanted to cancel, they said I had to come into the office. This has been a lot of wasted money. Not only do they debit my account the $10.00, but once a year they debit another $20 renewal fee. I have relocated back to the area and am going to try one more time to cancel.

If there is ever a class action suit against this company for refusing to close a membership and stop debiting accounts, count me in.

Charging fee after ending contract

THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! I have tried for the past 2 years to stop them from debiting my bank account. I have gone in person twice and wrote a letter "no forms were available both times",they gave me a piece of notebook paper to write on, I listed my accounts (2), dated the letter and requested to stop my membership. I saw the manager fold the piece of paper and stick it under the back of the notepad... assuring me it would be taken care of. I have also called 3 times to the manager of that day and explained that I'm still being charged. Finally, on 6/15/2016 the charge stopped. BUT, on 7/15/2016 a different charge began $9.00.
Are you kidding me? For what? For who?
Today 4/11/2017... I called yet another manager. It took them 1 1/2 hours to find my account, "we have a new system". He said he couldn't find anything in my account that reflected me stopping my membership. He told me that I will need to either appear again in person at the store or send a certified letter to end membership. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So, I will go in person again today to fill out another stop membership. I can guess that I'm not going to get any sort of refund either. I have had it with this company and their "manager" policies.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FITNESS 19 - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Continue charging even after cancellation

Fitness 19 Rialto location has continued to charge me a monthly payment even though I cancelled months ago due to a lack of disposable income. Their excuse the first time I realized they were still charging was that I only cancelled one member (even though I cancelled my whole account) and that they would rectify the situation. The following month I get charged again, I call and get the same reason, that I never cancelled the other people on my account. Now the manager is refusing to reimburse. This is blatant fraudulent behavior and according to reviews this is a common occurrence.

Bad Owner

Had been member for years, loved management , hated the facility...Finally got my chance to talk to the owner of Fit 19 West Bloomfieod to simply ask if he could please make sure some of my so called yearly "ehancement" money could go towards the multiple broken machines or the broken hvac at which point he turned his back on me and called me a few nasty names then when I called him out (D.TEX )turned around and berated me in front of members and then canceled my membership...the confrontation was so threatening I went and filed a report at the local police station. Needless to say that was a mistake as I grew up in the area and after that all my friends and I ( prominent money from the area took our business to LIFETIME a real health club, BUYER BEWARE YOUR ENHANCEMENT FEES ARE USED TO PAD SCUM OWNERS POCKETS!!!

Fitness 19

Really didn't get any opportunity to try out the gym. Personal Trainer fired before I could start,. Check cashed before due, not reimbursed for PT in a timely manner,, refused service by King, called a liar by King, and staff inadequately handling cancelation transaction.... didn't have a clue what to do. So a fair amount of $$ upfront and services not provided. So far, no refund. If trainer such as King is it....then big trouble ahead.... Unprofessional to the max. I may have been rude......but unscrupulous Fitness 19 personifies bad business conduct and ethics..... they want to screw people over....

Poor Manager Professionalism

April Manager of Fitness 19 has a poor customer service towards paying customers. She is rude, extremely arrogant & takes her role as a manger to extremes. She down grades the teenagers who work-out when they wear clothing she does not approve of. and talks about people working out to her coworkers. Not very professional.

Billing

I cancelled my membership the month i got it because of how gross this place was and how the employees were disgusting and did not care about anything. Now i was not being billed since then. All of a sudden I get billed when my bill was originally due 3 months later and then last night I get three charges saying oh here's for months after and back charges and blah blah blah. This line of gyms needs to be terminated. I want my money back.

assaulted on gym property

I was assaulted by another member of this gym on my first day there. The management did not call the cops nor did they kick out the person who hit me in the face. In hindsight, I should have called the cops and sued both the gym and the "crazy guy" who actually laid hands on me. This gym is a joke and should be avoided if you like to workout and not fight at the same time. The assholes who work there are useless and the gym equipment is sub-par at best.

Unprofessional

I went to go check out Fitness 19 on a Thursday night around 8pm because I'm moving to this area and I wanted to see what this type of gym offers. So when I went inside to get some info on this gym I saw some employees playing football in the gym instead of helping me or other people at the gym out. Also I have a son so I might bring him with me so I can work-out while he stays at the child care so I asked the girls if they had cpr or first aid and they said no. I believe that is a issue because all business should have some kind of saftey for their customers especially if they are children. So I don't think this gym is suitable for me or my son and just might have to go join one of the other gyms around in the area.

MY DAUGHTER WAS FIRED FROM FITNESS 19 HERE IN NATOMAS BECAUSE THE OWNER SAID "WE ARE HEADING IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION."
SHE WAS ALREADY BEING SQUEEZED FROM FITNESS 19 MANAGEMENT BY CUTTING HER HOURS. OBVIOUSLY THEY DIDN'T LIKE HER, , , , , IS THIS A GOOD REASON FOR BEING FIRED?
