After being shut down by the hurricanes during the rebuilding stages of my business which originally shut down from COVID, I filed to recertify my snap in May 2023. Was asked to submit loss of income which I did the same day it was requested. After a few weeks I found out it was denied due to not submitting the documents that were sitting in my account and had been. Was told to reapply. Roughly June 9th I reapplied and confirmed that they had everything they needed, another month goes by and I get a denial stating too much income. Mind you there was no income, hence the loss of income statements. Was told to reapply AGAIN. July 28th I reapply and my account has been pending ever since. Mind you my medicaid was renewed so they clearly had some kind of information. My ex owes over $65k in back child support that I was forced to file so that they could make sure he contributed. What a joke. He still has a dl. When I call the system tells me my last benefit updates were in March of 2020.... I waited on hold for hours just to be transfered to someone who told me they couldn't help me a supervisor would call me back and of course I never heard a word.
