On October 2nd, 2015 I submitted copies of my pay stubs as requested by the Florida Department of Children and Family in order to complete a required re-certification for Food Stamps. The same was immediately reviewed and processed followed by a phone interview which ended on a positive note which indicated I would be receiving my benefit. It is now October 12, 2015 and my benefit has not been released. I have tried to reach their office and get a recorded message. The process is so impersonal that there is no one outside of the initial interviewer to speak with, or to even make an inquiry. My family is currently without food and assistance.
