When you push brake pedal you think you aren't going to stop, then it suddenly catches and throws on the brake making a sudden stop. Went to Ford Dealer and they said that this had happened to the 2013 Edges and Lincoln MKX so that Ford Motor Co, issued a bulletin #13N02 authorizing an extented warranty coverage for the brake booster problems. However, the Vin # on our auto isn't on the list, even though it has the brake booster failure. Dealer doesn't know why ours isn't covered and doesn't have parts to fix. If they get the parts, it will cost us $450.00. Called Ford Customer Service asking why our Vin # isn't covered, and they don't know...only that it isn't covered by their bulletin #13N02. Our Edge has 55,000 miles so the regular warranty is expired. Why are they chosing to fix only a few of the brake problems when there is obviously a problem with many cars?
