I called Danielle from Calgary inquiring why we got billed for $4.99 for dialing the number you use or operate (trying to call back company we do business with and the number there credit department left for us to get through to them)
After following the steps indicated on the phone we felt like it was either a scam or we may be getting billed for this service (not sure) so we hung up. A few minutes later we received a text telling us we owe $4.99 which i think is ridiculous but i will admit if we hit a button and never listened to the prompts correctly I guess the mistake is on us weather it is a tricky system to use or not.
The reason I called back the number is because i wanted in writing (email) the prompts that we would have got send so i could send a bill to our creditor for returning there call at the number they gave us. I admit i may have been frustrated talking on the phone with Danielle but she sounded like she was ready for battle and had been through this many times.
What i was hoping she would do is send me a email of what we did or the buttons we pushed or even just your regular start up we would have listened to so we could put the charges forward.
Its honestly not about the money it is just more how the service was and how hard it is to get info about how and why we were charged..
Would be great to hear back from somebody regarding this, if not will follow other channels to get more light on this situation.
