In the 55 years of watching NFL, I have loved all the announcers you have used.: knowledgable, audience savvy, and adept at a balance of talk and silence. Until now!! Tony Romo, with his "know-it-all" personality, and overwhelming desire to over work each and every play drives me crazy. Shortly after half-time, I had to turn the sound off because Tony kept talking and talking and talking about how New England was going to set up, where they are going to throw ........yada, yada, yada. Most people that I watch football with do not want this kind of announcing!!!! Tony cannot shut his mouth for a second. We don't want to be told the line set-up for every play of the game, and a few seconds of silence wouldn't be bad either. Kudos to a wonderful balance of announcers you have chosen over the years....especially Al and Chris!!! Tony Romo...a resounding fail.
