Just wanted to comment on the horrible coverage fox sports provides the NHRA versus the many years of spot on coverage from ESPN. Being an avid fan of the NHRA, if I've told someone once I've said it a hundred times that I've never missed watching an NHRA qualifying run or race for many years. Unfortunately, even when Fox Sports does manage to "broadcast" a complete NHRA show when it actually is suppose to be aired, it is only a handfull of runs in qualifying, and the rest of the event is just not covered at all. As fans of the sport we do enjoy keeping up with all the lower ranked teams happenings just as much as the bigger dollar teams racing for the championship. I mean think about it, a sports broadcasting company wouldn't consider just showing the better plays or more popular players only in an NFL game, right?
I realize I don't understand all the behind the scenes decisions about all this, but im guessing it's all about money. So to the NHRA, I hope fox sports paid you enough over ESPN to alienate your avid fans, because their coverage is crappy at best.
