FPL allowed the lights to be transferred in another person name who has no lease at my Resident. No one should be able to transfer the lights at anytime if they are not the owner. I would like for the light taken out the Person Name ASAP. Please Contact me Via Email. I really need Resolve this matter.

my main power line has burnt again; leaving me with no power. FPL isn't responding as urgent! they came out and left a temp hot wire going across 2 neighbors yards. I have spoke to several customer services reps and asked for the corporate number and keep getting the run around.

I have suddenly without warning received a charge on my bill for $537.09. After almost 30 phone calls where I left messages ( I am serious about leaving 30 messages) When I finally spoke to Mr. Carlton Johnson, ( 866) 231-5949 ext 19 he said that the charge was from 18 years ago. I barely remember this but I do remember that I disputed it at the time. There was something about an upstairs neighbor and a misreading of the meter the last month that I cleaning out the apartment. Anyway I asked if there was a dispute process and Mr Johnson said that I should go to the police and file a report and fax it to him with a letter. I did that and then followed up with about 35 phone messages ( yes that many) before I got a call back from Mr. Johnson. He refused the request because he said that I had to give him the name of the upstairs neighbor and the contact information. This is illegal to strong arm me into giving FPL the name of a customer of theirs. I have always been polite to Mr Johnson and I have received no cooperation. I asked for the name of a supervisor and he laughed and said O K call Sammy. I asked for a full name and he refused. He gave me a number that I call and call and call and leave messages for. I could have my elect cut off because I am a senior and I cannot pay this surprise bill.

This company destroyed my fence they said they would repair it ,they got their truck stuck, the wrecker pulled it out and then they hit my car, I called Lee County Sheriff the wrecker stated they fix the car. FPL said they would fix the fence they lied, they refused to do one thing but get nasty with me their victim. This should not happen to you, take pictures as soon as they arrive, also if they do damage your place insist a report is filed with your local sheriffs department Florida Power and Light are not your friend they do not back their workers word. This was done to a Veteran and in full view of over ten people, don't trust them, they know you don't have the money to fight them . FPL is good example of what is wrong with this country.

3 weeks ago I emailed FPL about trimming a huge tree whose branches go between the power lines and twice before have knocked out the power in the last year when Thunderstorms whip up the wind. a lady FPL rep came out last week and said to call the cable co to clear the lower line . I said that's not cable, that's telephone line. We have no cable in this park. I said Look at the branches above and below the upper to FPL lines ; they stick through and above both lines. When the wind comes up, they will it the power lines. She said the tree must have been hit by lightning. I told her both times , we and the neighbors were outside watching the sparks and booms when the branches hit the power lines. She said Its not bad enough. Call us when power gets knocked out. Fraudulent amount illegally transferred onto my account $152.14


FPL has fraudulently transferred the above amount onto my account. I have spoken to FPL representatives multiple times regarding this matter and they have acknowledged that I was not the account holder nor was it my account.. The account they transferred it from was never mine nor was I aware of it or ever resided or have been at the address they had listed.

To make it even more interesting based on the date of alleged service ( Requested documentation but to date FPL has failed to provide) appears to make the attempted collection of this alleged debt a violation of FDCPA opening the door for damages to be awarded against FPL and enforcement action to be taken by state and Federal agencies against FPL.

These monopolies need to be broken up to allow for fair competition

Fpl contracted with pike electric and proceeded without informing me they would be in my back yard replacing electrical poles during the night. Woke me up at 4 in the morning, I went to see what all the banging and yellingho was. PIKE had this huge hydraulic machine in my back yard (which is small) Changing out the electrical pole while stadium lights were blazing from across the road.
I complained and asked for names and was told to find out their names for myself. They continued until 6am
One worker was smoking while working in an area where the grass is dry. I asked him to stop, he stared until he was finished then put it out on the machine. Turned out he was the forman. I complained to FPL who sub contracTed them. They told me they could not do anything about. WHO CAN HELP, WHO, I WANT TO KNOW... My biggest fear is they will be there again in the early hours without warning. I work two jobs I need my sleep and No one cares help please....
