2016 FREIGHTLINER CASCADIA 125SLP purchased August 2016 new only put 181,420 miles on the engine CUMMIN ISX the high pressure fuel pump is leaking, the warranty is good for one year or 100,000 mile only, why this happen too early I had a few unit that has CUMMIN ISX engine on it but never have problem on this issue at all other than ware and tare on different parts, this major problem that shouldn't happen for the short period of time the estimate cost to fix it is $45,00 and the down time is unknown this cost is based on good friend who is a good mechanic that I have known for years can you imagine if I use dealer to do this job I would assume double prices, I don't know that I will buy any more truck with CUMMIN engine or not, to me this is not Freightliner fault but the company who made the engine to blame that's my personal opinion, I know nothing last for ever but seems to be too early for what happen, that's all I can say or complaint about to see if anything some one can do something perhaps any recall for this situation, I think is extremely danger and it is fire hazardous.
