Despite passing the preceding semester at Friends University of Kansas, with a 3.5 gpa, I was blocked from enrolling in classes to continue. This despite repeated requests to be allowed to do so over a 3 month period.
The reason given was that I had to talk to an Advisor first.
I did so, but my question is: Are there any other students who had to wait to talk to an Advisor before they could even add classes to secure thie funding for the Semester?

I tried to drop classes when I got sick & my "advisor" wouldn't let me, just kept saying miss a couple of classes then use the tutoring services. I missed 2 weeks & then he gave me the number of a tutor. After leaving 4 messages she finally call me; a week later! Told me she don't tutor anymore & gave me the number of another girl. That girl also don't tutor. So at this point i had missed 4 weeks of school. The so called advisor at that point said I couldn't pass & should drop the classes. If I would have been able to drop the classes when I wanted to I would have no bill at all but now I owe $1000 cause of that advisor! They are holding my transcripts too! They won't work with me! I wouldn't send anyone to that school, they don't care about you!
