credit/refund on prior purchase

I bought my Frigidaire washer/dryer combo in November of 2020. In early August 2021, the dryer stopped functioning: lights kept flashing saying, "close dryer door". The door was closed. I contacted Lowe's (where I purchased the unit) who put me in contact with their appliance repair department. I was contacted within a day or two by Appliance Tech either in New Bern or Morehead City, NC. Within a week, a technician was at my house. He installed a new switch having to do with the dryer or dryer door. That did not take care of the problem. He said he needed to order another part. We waited two weeks, was scheduled conveniently again. The same technician came and installed what he was calling a mother board for the dryer. This was after reviewing many parts, a call to a supervisor, and a call to Fridigaire. Up until this point, the washer was working, so I was able to hang clothes outside. When I pointed out the fact that the washer wasn't working, he said he needed to order a mother board for the washer as well. We waited 2 weeks, and I am now having to go to a laundromat. I called Lowe's repair department back with no resolution. My husband visited Lowe's to inform them of the process of our issue. In just about two more weeks, a different technician came to the house. He said he had two parts, but he did not know what the other guy had already done, so I had to enlighten him. He put in the two parts after dismantling much of the unit. He also was on the phone with he said Frigidaire and said he followed the wiring through the unit. When he left, the dryer lights were still flashing with the saying "Close dryer door". When I asked him if the washer was working, he said yes. He left saying that the parts the first guy had ordered weren't the correct parts. He would have to order more parts. After he left, I tried to use the washer, and it was not working. The next day, I texted Appliance Tech to tell him that the washer was not working. I received a reply not addressing this issue at all but saying, "We had to order another part". I didn't even know there was a phone number to call because the number Appliance Tech had always contacted me on is a text only number. A woman called me on Monday, Oct 4, 2021 to schedule my next service appointment. We arranged that, and on Tuesday, the 5th, yet another technician came who didn't know what had happened before. I didn't watch or speak with him because it was our dinner time, and I was quite frustrated with the whole process, so my husband talked with him. This technician dismantled many parts, and I'm not sure what else. He left and said that he would call the next morning which is today, 10/6/21. It's now 3:46, and I have not received a phone call or text. My fears are when this company finally decided that they can't fix my unit, I will still have to wait to get a replacement as shipping is delayed all over the world. This unit is still under the original warranty, but FYI we paid for an extended warranty.
I want a new machine ASAP as my other fear is that with three different technicians dismantling he unit and replacing parts, who knows if it will ever be the same.

Refrigerator fire

Thawed a turkey. Juices overflowed plate under turkey and ran down the drain lines which were NOT sealed to prevent leakage under the refridgerator compartment. Juices dripped on the compressor controller conveniently located under the unsealed drain lines. Glad we were home.

Called Frigidaire, they said it was out of warranty. Asked for a supervisor who offered to pay for 1/2 of the part cost and NONE of the labor. My dear husband fixed it with a $40 part.
