Had this fridge for 4 years now. Woke up to fire alarms going off. The back of the fridge was barreling out smoke and you could hear it sizzling in the back. After turning off the breaker and investigating, found that the recently installed water filter was leaking all the way down the hoses and through a poor caulking job @ bottom of fridge right onto the electrical. The capacitor and 120v wiring shorted out and started melting the plastic which would have eventually caught fire. I fear this could have been a lot worse. I hope this problem is taken seriously by the company.
