I went to the Concord Mall on 12/21/14 to purchase a few DVD's. When I was checking out, the guy kept wishing me a happy holiday and said that he would put some "coupons" in my bag in light of the season. At the time, I thought it was a little odd that he kept repeating happy holidays to me during the course of the transaction. After seeing a charge of 11.99 on my account for the FYE VIP Backstage Pass, I now know why. I never authorized this man to sign me up for some card I would never use. I only shop there ONCE a year. It is scary to think he used my debit card information to sign me up for it. After calling the company, I found it really disturbing that they try to talk you into keeping it, without understanding that one of their employees had technically stole from a customer, since they did not have the authority to take my information and sign me up . The only thing I signed was my receipt. So for all those who shop at FYE, be extremely careful. They will steal your credit card information to sign you up for a card in order to meet a quota. The person I spoke to said he would cancel it and gave me a confirmation number, so we will see. I will file charges if my debit card continues to be charged.
