I stumbled across this website and noticed that Gate 1 Travel was listed in the "complaints" section. I am shocked. I travel internationally on a regular basis and used a number of travel groups in the past, but I've had such good service from Gate 1, and their prices are always the best for any trip I decide to take, that I have basically quit calling the other companies. This year I took the Athens tour with a med. cruise to Turkey, Israel, and Egypt, and Greek islands. It was one of my favorite trips I've ever taken and my guide was wonderful. I leave May on a trip to Russia with them and the agent I use helped us make some small changes so it was the perfect trip. I've used them for air and hotel only, for guided tours, and for land only.

Again, I'm so surprised there are complaints here because I can't say enough good things about the company, the guides, and the bargains I've been able to pick up by watching their sales.

I would like to know from "Expert4travel" which hours they work for Gate1 as the way the reply was written, the ONLY thing I can assume is that this person is employed by Gate1. And as far as "Westgalady" being SHOCKED, my only question is, do you work the same days as "expert"??
