My husband and I purchased a leather sofa through Lay-z-Boy in 2012 and also purchased the 5 year Gaurdsman Warranty Plan. Per the warranty paper work and the sales person information we were informed that the sofa would be repaired if there was any damage to the leather with-in the 5 year period as long as it was not from a beak or claw (so from a pet.) The leather on the sofa is peeling in several areas it is not due to pet damage and they are refusing to honor the current warranty.
