Range
We bought a set of appliances (range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave) in January of this year. Slate I believe they call them. Anyway, when we ordered them we had to wait 2 weeks for the range to come in Damaged. Sent that bk and then got another one. So we have had them for about 4.5 months. I went to clean the oven and the porcelain started to come off. I looked at it closer and there appears to be like grind marks on the bottom , looks like to me that they tried to fix it. It is now down to bare bones on some of the oven bottom. I called and was told by GE that it sounds like a cosmetic issue which isn't covered after 30 days. Ok, now how does that wk when it is clearly a manufacturer screwup? We should not have to deal this when it came out of the factory that way and we didn't catch it until I went to clean it. Warranty isn't worth any more then the products are. I even spoke to one of the top people, who was very condescending. PEOPLE do not BUY GE appliances they do not stand by products! Dishwasher is also very cheaply made.
