Phone number 916 702 7462 is calling my father in law to scam money. My father in law is 87 and has dementia and we are unable to stop this caller - he can call up to 55 times a day. He somehow gives or deposit bogus cheques in FIL account then has my father in lw write him a cheque back. We live in Canada so very hard to stop this scam.

This number texted me about an item I listed on craigslist, said they were buying it for their son and wanted my paypal address, offer me more money than I asked for. I text them back and said stop texting me and that they were a spammer. They texted me again using very foul language. This person needs to be stopped!! Their account should be suspended!!!

Reverse number lookup shows Global Crossing Local Services, Inc-IL is the carrier for 847-994-4065.
Just got the following text from that number:

Which U.S. agency tracks phone scams?

Received a call from 518-303-3238, stating this is their final attempt to contact me, and if I don't call them back, there will be legal issues and I will be arrested. I called the number received a message that the subscriber you have call is not in service try your call later. I had no idea what it was about, but I did a reverse lookup on the phone number, and the company's name is Global Crossing Local Services, located upstate New York. Mine you, on their voice message, never mentioned anything what it was regarding, only that there were legal issues, and I will be arrested. The irony of it is, I don't live in New York.

I received a call to my cell phone from the number 617-751-1090 and that I had 4 serious allegations against me and to call this number, that I am in serious trouble. I called the number and a lady answered saying they were Global Crossing and then I hung up. I've tried calling the same number from my cell and it states the number is no longer in service. Now I call the number and I hear nothing. Who are these people?

Keeps getting harassing messages from this fraudulent company. They have multiple locations that they operate from.
Threats of arrest by local authorities. Don't understand why the FCC does not shut this company down. How many more people
have to be scammed? It's an I intricate operation. There are multiple locations and a lot of foreigners. They should be deported to their countries. Just checked the location in Silverdale, Washington. Beware of calls from this number.

I have gotten 3 calls very late last nite from 206-922-0880 - but on caller id it comes up as Amazon Customer Service and
tells me to press a certain number - I just hang up. And now I just got another call. I have reported this spoofing/scam/fraud
to the FCC......I filed the complaint tonite. But someone must stop this from Global Crossing......I hope the FCC will do something.

Someone needs to shut this company down. They have been harrassing me for days. Calling sometimes 3 times in succession saying that they are from some time share company. The number is always the same, 360-548-6191. No company should be allowed to call on a prospective telemarketing client that often. It is harrassment!!

I got a strange call from Washington when I leave in Oklahoma telling me they was filing a lawsuit on me or government fraud .When I told her this can’t be true the IRS would sent out a letter and would inform me about this she began to tell they have six months ago at witch was a lie.The only time own the irs was back in 2016 and I made monthly payment and pay them off.They began to tell it was for 2014 again not true I know off hand how they work and the irs don’t leave messages your phone they first send you a letter then you have to call them witch is a pain and waiting forever to get to the right person to handle the matter so don’t be fooled this company is a scam I’m hoping they get caught and they will in time!

Received more than 20 calls form this NY # 646-205-7570 in a space of 2 hours. No message left and they hang up when you answer. I am reporting this # to the FTC

They said a thick tongued woman she'd gotten over internet my request for things to buy for rash on back legs feet..I said excuse me I have no rash! She barges in your skin back legs are not itching I'd had the harassing and said go F... Yourself! She gasped I slammed down phone! Instantly another call another local 615 # from Nashville came thru I answered livid before another younger thick tongue woman spoke I asap said what do y'all want mother .......! She gasped n shock hanging up! I did reverse calling and since these two numbers in Nashville so close to My Juliet and Lebanon where friends live I was Mortified thinking it was THEM? All you guys are giving weird numbers locations WHY is these numbers hitting Soo close to where I live..where THEY live! HELP! What is this and why do they have the right to do this! It does sound Spanish based..they r Not I did recall getting they ONCE saying if I was Spanish to call this long number if I wasn't stay on line for agent..I did..someone picked up clunked down ASAP! Call says it was coming from Tacoma, WA (I live in Spokane). Answer it....delay before anyone says anything (making me think the call is being transferred to the call center). A lady comes on and says it is a recorded line and asks for me... I just hung up. I am getting fed up with these companies spoofing local, or close to local, numbers to try to scam. So annoying.

A man with a heavy accent keeps calling my phone repeatedly saying he has a check for me. Then says to wire him 99 dollars and he will ups the check to me..says I'll be reimbursed for the 99 dollars after.. I told him not to call my phone no more and that I will be reporting this to the proper authorities!!! The number is 973-587-8098. They are located in NJ..that is ths info I got from reverse look up..

I have been receiving voice mails (bc i never answer a number i don't kmow) saying i have 4 serious accusations against me and the local authorities will be taking me into custody soon. They tell me to call 206-577-0870. Then when the number is repeated it is a totally dif number 203-635-4583. So today i had had enough. I am sick of my phone ringing all day for bs!! I called these numbers and of course they are not working numbers. No matter how many times i block these unwanted calls i still get the. On another line. I am about to change my number but it is ridiculous that i should have to pay to change my number so i can quit being harrassed. Then they will get my new number and it will start all over again!!

When I answer, I just get beeping as if they're trying to fax. Who knows, maybe there's some kind of scam in that. Maybe it's recording, not faxing?
Whatever it's doing, it is annoying and from all of these complaints, probably some how a scam!

I am living in WA with CA phone number. This came in as CA phone number 408-688-6848... which is suspiciously close (within 3 digits) of my own phone number. Said he worked with all the major credit agencies to lower interest rates and started asking me for the expiration dates on my credit card. When I asked about his credentials he got really offended and made it sound like I was "getting the wrong idea" and overreacting. Heavy, heavy Indian accent, so I can't really remember verbatim. Told him I had to talk to my husband and asked him to call back in two hours. I'll edit if he does.

After a reverse look up on the phone number brought up Marlene S Whitaker, Global Crossing Services CA, Santa Clara, San Jose. Landline.

Had three calls in succession today from 360-846-7680 and 360-487-7303, minutes apart. The man (Lyle Min) didn't leave a company name or message other than to say for me to call him back. I know Global Crossing Local own the number because they are linked to the number. I have a CA. ph # but moved from CA last year to WA and the call was from WA. Seems suspicious.

A guy called my cell phone, asked for my name. I asked who's speaking, how can I help you?
He said "I'm Keith, calling from Global Crossing and wanted to congratulate me because I was selected in there grand entry, and I won a trip for two.
I was thinking about the scam calls so I asked How did I win and from where??
He said "oh from an entry form you recently filled out.
I replied " oh really? I dont recall entering in anything.
He replied "oh probably from a recent event you attended. Then he started asking questions have you been to the staples center, the convention center or the hub etc.
I replied " oh sorry I"m not interested and I cant talk right now." and hung up the phone.
Watch out people, these scammers are in California and can get ahold of your money even by saying the word yes. Police in other states have reported these kind of scams. They ask questions and record you. They expect you and WANT YOU TO answer "Yes". Somehow they re-rerecord the conversation and questions with your voice. Then they scam you and you end up reporting it but they have the upper hand because they have your voice agreeing and saying Yes.

I receive 4+ calls a day from this phone number 817-768-6583 I'm tired of this calls I block the number and they still call me I looked up on the internet and that and was GLOBAL CROSSING LOCAL SERVICES, INC.-TX I need them to stop calling me.

This company calls our my office from 1 to 4 times per day. They ask for the old owner- (been retired since 2010) then they hang up. When I try to call them back, it's a busy signal. They are so frustrating and so rude. How can I stop them from calling here. Its annoying and they have no right to just hang up.
