I have put a deposit for a car and when the finance did not approved my application, i asked back my deposit but it was more than 8 weeks now they have not returned it. i came to the office but when i get there, they have so many excuses. until now they have not return my £500 deposit.

I have put a deposit for a car and when the finance did not approved my application, i asked back my deposit but it was more than 8 weeks now they have not returned it. i came to the office but when i get there, they have so many excuses. until now they have not return my £500 deposit.

These people are useless. They sold a car and as soon as they have the money they don't bother to fulfil the promises they made at time of purchase such as valeting the car and leaving the price tag still in the car as if it wasn't sold! They didn't reveal details of the car and whether it had been in an accident which was obvious due to small signs on the car which I realised after, and they take it in for servicing and make excuses for not doing it. It is as if they take cars in and sit on their bums all day and randomly call to say it's ready.
When you arrive, it's not ready and when you question them they are non-apologetic and they make excuses like Mr so and so isn't in, so you'll have to come back another day. Also they are stingy with their courtesy cars and don't want to give it, when they do give it, they want it back within the same day, having not solved the issues on the car! Calling in about problems- different people say different things and then they try and explain how the problems on the car are usual and normal on cars like that- I'm like ''WHAT?!' Steer well away from them and don't listen to their empty promises. They are a waste of time and space and need to be trained on delivering their promises once they make them.
