I had purchased my entire home furniture from Godrej Interio, Mylapore, Chennai in August 2016. As as I am settled in Guruvayur, Kerala since, January 2017, after my retirement from Government service, I shifted all my household items from Chennai where I was posted to Guruvayur, Kerala. As I had shifted the entire unopened and unassembled furniture to my home at Guruvayur, the assembling was done by Lakshmi Agencies, Thrissur who is dealing in the sale of Godrej furniture. The invoice number is 84I/24144352 dtd. 30.09.2016 and the product is Radiance Dining Chair number 2 T 126T 014150703. After about a year, the resin of the dining chairs has started peeling off. Being a Godrej product, I was shocked to find the quality of the chairs provided. I made innumerable complaints since, June 8, 2018, but, there has not been any response from Godrej Interio. Godrej Interio furniture being a quality product in the market, I have shelled out a handsome amount to purchase the furniture from the said company.
I was assured of effective after sales service by Godrej Interio but, I have been cheated by the company.
Hence, this complaint. Kindly look into the matter urgently.
