I have been using Adwords for a long, long time. I finally realized that I was being fleeced. Started to keep more accurate track of clicks and charges. Had been paying hundreds of dollars per month for supposed clicks to my website. There is no proof that the number of clicks that are being charged are valid---must take their word for it. Even though I have hundreds of Negative Keywords (because of irrelevant clicks paid for in the past), I discovered several instances where I was charged for a click for search terms that were on my Negative Keywords list. Their Customer Service reps (in India) are all very polite and try to be helpful, but when I talk to a Supervisor because of an unresolved complaint, they stubbornly refuse to give refunds and refuse to acknowledge that they are wrong. I have NOT received the increased business that the number of paid clicks would indicate, I challenged their system of charging me for clicks, no proof, their word, denial, and inadequate and unacceptable explanations of why I am not getting new business even though paying hundreds of dollars for clicks. I have terminated my account with them. They are arrogant and untrustworthy.
