I receive 3-4 phone calls from Google every day trying to update my Google account. I don't believe I have an account with them, I don't want an account with them, & I don't want their annoying phone calls. When I try to respond to the automatic voice by selecting one of the suggested options (e.g. "Select One") nothing happens. Except tomorrow the calls continue 3-4 a day. I would like it stopped but have been unable to reach Google to tell them to stop. Frustration!

Hi not sure if you can help with this, but thought I'd try. I live in Canada have a small business and I also work at another business, both have been inundated with robo calls claiming to be from Google, saying our google listing needs to be updated, however we have no paid for google listing or advertising. I have hit the button to speak with an agent, who was pushy, rude and didn't quite get it. The person said it was required for us to pay a fee, in order to keep our business name on google so that when people search for us they can find us. I thought this was free and so I said that to them. It was advertising they were trying to sell. I told them we were not interested and asked the person to remove our numbers from their call list. Because the calls come from different numbers that was quite pointless. Most of the time we just ignore the calls. However we get 2-3 a day, everyday, all showing on our caller id as "international" and if we don't answer, it plugs up voice mail. The numbers are always different - I've even tried to look up one of the numbers on google (how ironic) and it is a number from somewhere in the US. The process to block it from Canada is daunting if not impossible. I've spoken to other local business owners who receive similar calls on a consistent basis too. Changing our phone number is not an option, and appealing to the callers common sense is not practicable as they are only interested in getting their sale. I understand call centers outsource and do cold calls, but this is excessive to an extreme. I also intend to make a complaint within Canada and we will continue to put google on ignore.

I get a call at least 10 times a day saying that Google has tried to contact me several times and if I don't press 1 and talk to someone they will add that my business is permanently closed. when I press 1 they say that I have to pay a bunch of money if I want my business to come up on Google.Today I got belittled by Ryan, as soon as I called him on the Scam he got rude, called me names so I finally hung up on him.
