Trying to reset my 69 year old Dad's Gmail password is like pulling teeth. Assisting him with what has turned out to be an impossible and frustrating and fruitless task of trying log him back into his gmail account. Answering all the security questions including providing a mobile number he no longer uses and getting a verification code sent to what I thought would be the safest and most logical place, should he ever need to recover his password (ie. My address). It said google cannot verify this is his email. What do you need, a DNA sample?

This is the most user UNfriendly system. There is no way of contacting a someone to resolve the issue.
