Gov vacation rewards

Gov Vacation Rewards Beware. This people assigned me an acct manager without asking me. Now after a read the reviews I decided not to join. Asking for$1999 just like that, without any contract is crazy. Well I told this guy I'm no because I readnthe reviews and he gotbvery upset and beligerent. Be careful my fellow veteran and civil service retiree. There are predators after our money!

Rip off

I renewed my Government Rewards account on March 14, 2015. I was told that I would get approximately 75,000 points for my renewal. I had 54,000 point left over from my previous government rewards account. Together the 75,000 points and the left over 54,000 points gave me a total of 129,000 plus points. I was told that the 54,000 would expire on April 3, 2015. I called on April 2, 2016 to book a flight from Tampa, FL to Lawton, OK, and use the 54,000 points, when the points were added for the flight; I only had to pay $17.20 out of pocket. I was on the phone from 7pm to approximately 8:45 to 9pm trying to get the flight booked. I talked to several people, and was told that I would get a call back that evening April 2, 2015, because they did not want me to be on the phone any longer. Someone did call, but it was later that night, so the message was to call the next day April 3, 2015. So, I did and the out of pocket amount had gone up from $17.20 to $68.20 even though the flight price had not changed. When they went to use my 54,000 points for the flight, they were gone. I acquired about them, and was told that the points had been turned into something else. I asked could I still use my previous points and was told no. I WOULD LIKE A SPECIFIC EXPANATION OF HOW EVERYTHING WORKS. I LIKE THE REWARDS PROGRAM, BUT SOMETHING IS NOT CONNECTION WITH ME RIGH NOW. I AM BEGINNING TO THINK THAT YOU ARE NOT DOING WHAT YOU PROMISE, AND THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. YOU HAVE ONE WEEK FROM RECEIPT.
