I have been a loyal customer for 30 years till now the Modesto guitar center had a Modesto resident came in to estiemate a carvine guitar thay quoted 800.00 for the guitar i talked to the man that i asked if he would like to sale the guitar to me and he replied yes they tried to till him it was not worth much more than 800.00 so i offeard 900.00 he agreed i gave my business card to him. He called me to let me no to come down to guitar center that he will be there to give me the guitar they told him that thay tried to contact me they did not contact any of my registered numbers they told him they would give him the 800.00 and only charge me the different that is what he told me when i called him back so i went down to talk to the lady i do bussines with and she was going to sale the guitar to me for 1200.00 plus 9 percent salse tax i contacted the alderly man he was mad i told him not to be mad my trail legal [atternies] will look into it just because your alderly its just not right [ PS] IM VERY VERY SORRY THIS HAD TO HAPPEN TO A OLDER PERSON.

In 2006, I bought an ovation guitar with a lifetime warranty that was supposed to be serviced by guitar center. Three years later it is warped and Guitar center refuses to stand behind it. Avoid these people like the plague
