Safety feature bypassed
I must say in general i have been MOST disappointed in GWM's customer service ... I had issues with my car not wanting to start and handed it in to GWM gezina to have it looked at whilst my car was booked in for her general service. Needles to say i went to pick up my car and i was told that my battery was faulty, which i knew could not be possible as i had it replaced in April at the same branch. The guys from the battery center came out and tested it and the report showed nothing wrong, gwm gezina insisted that they cannot fix something that they cannot confirm to be true... I then explained to the car technician what i experienced and he then named two possible other issues( the ignition and or maybe the clutch switch) and said that they had a clutch switch in stock and would replace it and we can see from there if there are any issues... Blindly and trustingly i let them take my car and replace the switch, only to realize that they took it upon them selves to by pass a safety feature in my car that requires me to press my clutch before being ale to start my car.. I magically no longer need to press my clutch... Is it standard for GWM to make cars unsafe
