H&R Block is the worse tax place ever! My money was released on February 22 and still nothing. I’m suppose to get a paper check from H&R Block after they get their cut from doing my taxes. I have called the martinsburg office with absolutely no help from the lady answering the phone saying to to me to call the irs. This isn’t an irs problem! The irs released my money to H&R Block’s bank therefore H&R Block is suppose to send u your refund. They over talk and will give u no info where the is being mailed from or give u the date it was mailed. I will never deal with H&R Block ever again. Still have not received a refund as of today.

First I was turned away from H&R Blocks office in Moundsville WV because according to the secretary, I "chose a really bad day to come". I didn't know any day was a really bad day to give $300-$400 of my money to a business that advertises walk ins welcome to do something that I ended up being able to do myself for free on my home computer in 15 minutes. That is of course after I went and bought H&R Blocks basic federal return software for 30 dollars because I believe in being a patron and giving my return service. The software wasn't setup to be user friendly and there was a glitch that wouldn't accept the routing number for my direct deposit information. So after a week of calling, spending countless hours on hold and being transferred from one department to the next and back to the same ones over and over I gave up, filed my taxes on Turbo Tax for FREE in 15 minutes. Their format was very easy to understand and follow. In the end I will never go to h&r block again, after about 20 years of service to be treated this way is unacceptable. I highly recommend Turbo Tax
