My wife and I went to file jointly for the first time together with H&R Block. Got married last year & built a new home also. Expected a better out-come filing jointly, OK didn't happen the results were not what we thought they should be, so we decided to have the H&R rep. show us filing separate if it would make a difference and go with the cheapest route. After doing the first return she ask did i want to sent it and I said yes, but she didn't finish the second until she sent off the first one. Now this Lady had 11 years of experience with H&R Block, so now we are paying TWICE as much filing separate. I know she understood why we were back looking at separate Filing to be sure we were getting the better deal. but everything was Done when she sent the first filing, we had to file separate at that point. H&R Block Representatives work off commissions and this lady took advantage of what was once an H&R Block returning customer. To do business like this when you go to someone's place of Business and they advertise the best out-come for their client, you expect more or better advice from a 11 year Professional H&R Block rep.
