Yesterday, February 21, 2021, Hallmark aired the opener of Season 8, When Calls the Heart. There were so many long interruptions for commercials that it was both frustrating and difficult to maintain interest in the story. I am not saying this was the most riveting opener for WCTH, but the huge number of adds was a real killjoy. I have heard from 3 friends who also thought it was very excessive. It's questionable whether I can stick with the series, even though I like the characters a lot.

There are good options for entertainment with very little commercials. With so many interruptions, the reputation of the series is undoubtedly tarnished if nor decimated.

What happened to good old traditional family values? Why are you now showing gay couples in your family oriented movies? Your channel was the last vestage of decency we could watch without worry. It appears that is no longer the case. Please rethink this, or you will soon lose most of your viewership. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to have gay couples in your movies, other than to appease a very small segment of viewers, that aren't watching your channel anyway. They just want to permiate every aspect of society. You really need to draw the line on this, or I'm sorry to say, your channel will be a thing of the past.

I think it’s ok to include blacks in your movies! In your recent movie Marriage March 3, why the black woman minister in the last marriage scene? She was the only black person in the movie! She was dressed in an all black pant suit that had a masculine appearance! Was she put in there to shock white viewers and send a politically correct message of things to come! It appears the liberal left is beginning to affect your decisions and diversity is your priority! Your primary viewers are family oriented! I hope you don’t loose the viewers that made the Hallmark Channel great to begin with! Again black families SHOULD be included in your movies and that’s a good thing!

Hallmark Channel: the volume of the commercials between movie or tv show segments is very loud. (Even my older parents have noticed it at their home and their hearing is diminished). More so than the other channels I watch. I'm surprised that Hallmark would stoop to this tactic. I challenge Hallmark to prove that their average commercials volume is the same as the average volume of the movie or tv shows. I believe it is getting worse over time. I'm starting to make notes of all the advertisers on the Hallmark Channel and will work hard to avoid buying their products.

Dear hallmark,
I don't know if this is the branch of Hallmark that I need to contact or not. My family were just watching the Walton and this commercial came on for a comedy on another channel. This guy was talking about masturbation. We couldn't believe that what we heard. We thought the hallmark channel was family friendly and this commercial pops up. We love your programming, like little house on the prairie and the Waltons. we really like your holiday programming especially around Christmas. Just thought you would want to know. Please take this into consideration. Thank you and thanks for your shows. We much appreciate it.
