As a five season viewer of When Calls The Heart, I have found the “explanation “ of why the character of Jack was killed in the last episodes of season five, to be totally unexceptionable for all of the VERY loyal viewers. We already watched all of the struggles and “life’s ups and downs “ waiting for the main characters to unite finally and have a life together!! Even if Daniel (the actor) had to exit the show for personal reasons, the writers and producers should have replaced him. “Jack” could have been hurt in an explosion or fire while training on duty and his appearance “altered” from that! There are many terrific actors that could have stepped into the role and viewers would have accepted that. This resolution is a slap across the face to all who were patiently waiting for a GOOD resolution FINALLY!! I will not watch the show again.
I also do not understand the repeated sit coms of The Middle and Last Man Standing and I Love Lucy, etc daily and nightly. It’s as if viewers have no intelligence whatsoever. Why not run the Hallmark movies each afternoon and evening and let us at least decide what we would like to view?? I know I’m only one viewer, but I have been extremely loyal , even writing ourcable providers to request Hallmark channelve included, which it finally was five years ago. Now you have lost one viewer out of a large feeling of disrespect for your audience!
