It's hard to find clean and wholesome TV entertainment today. I love to watch Hallmark. However, all of the male and female leads are white. If there is a person of Asian or Afro-American, or any other ethnicity portrayed they are usually a best friend or the boss.

I really enjoy watching Hallmark movies on Saturday's for several years. I have now stopped watching all together due to no people of color in leading roles. They are always the best friend and never the lead.
I have read the complaints from others on diversity and it seems like you are not listening.
Please get rid of the the Golden Girls and I Love Lucy, there are other shows to put on besides the same old ones. Tired of no diversity and the same old shows.
My family and friends are no longer watching Hallmark and I hope others will soon follow until there is diversity!!! Shame on Hallmark!!!

You play the same episodes again and again. All the same shows are on this week as a couple weeks ago. Isn't anybody paying attention? There are many many episodes. Stop playing the same on s over and over!!!

I watch tv a lot, with my son, and the other evening we were watching sports .....my son looked at me very puzzled, and asked me if white,yellow,and red people were banned from this sort..... what could I say,,, it's time for a racial quota system.

I watch Hallmark mostly on the wknds, but lately they've been on during the wk. So, long story short, I'm watching 'Birthday Wish,' and my son (he's 11) says, "ma, have you ever noticed that they never have black families on hallmark? Other channels have black families, like HGTV, Disney,and Boomerang. I'm just saying.' I will be honest that I hadn't paid it that much attention, but now that .y eyes are open, Hallwark you need to do better and have different color families on your channel!!

I believe in the quota system,,,expecially in sports,,,,,place quotas as tov color in sports.... if your color makes upv 80 percent of the population, then by law, that color will makeup that percentage of all the sport's participants,,, isn't that fair.... got to have yellow , red ,brown , blav and white,,, and tanning doesn't count.

I confess, I do enjoy the Murder She Baked series, but the rest are ridiculous. , I can barely get through 5 full minutes before I switch channels.

Regarding diversity, I'm about as white as one can be and it has always bothered me that there are no leading ladies or men of colour. Hallmark needs to move into the real world.

Watching a hallmark movie with Nicollette Sheridan,come on,she is way to old to have 2 small children,you need someone in their 30s or 40s,and she needs to stop having things done to look younger,she's in her 50s,she needs to age gracefully,and start playing grandmother rolls,it happens to all of us,there are way to many younger women out there that would love to have a job.

I wondered now that Cedar Cove is on Netflix if Hallmark Channel had thought about doing some new seasons that would go straight to Netflix? I just finished watching the 3rd season and there are a lot of story lines that were left hanging. Thanks for having such a great channel with heart warming movies and shows!

I couldn't care less about diversity I rather want great content,,, but maybe more Iraqi, and Chinese in your movies,, and lots more European americans,,

ex. Jessie stone, columbo movies,,,, extending them to two hours so you can get more commericals in...I most often don't even watch these shows since you make them 120k min. vs 89. or I tape them and fast forward so I watch no commericals... another option, time the com. where are usually around four minutes, and change channels.... either way , i'm really pissed off at hallmark,and have decided to watch other channels.... bad for you, which I couldn't care less about you.

This is along the same lines as other people have discussed regarding people of color. First, the Hallmark Christmas movies have practically zero people of color. Second, when the channel finally premiers a movie, "A Rose for Christmas," in 2017 that has a person of color, they choose to put the character in a role that perpetuates and creates prejudice and stereotypes. The black character is "failing" art class and then receives weightlifting gloves as a Christmas present, both of which perpetuate the stereotype of an athlete being the only career option and life goal for a black male. This theme goes back to the more subversive theme of black slavery and human labor. I was completely disgusted that when hallmark finally added a person of color to one of their Christmas movies this is how they chose to add in the person. It's absolutely ridiculous. The company has such a huge platform with the viewership that they could have done so much more and breakdown the prejudices and stereotypes that plague our society. Instead they do this. I know the movies are not going for Academy Awards, but COME ON Hallmark. THINK.

I have always loved watching Hallmark movies, however I would love to turn on your network and see people of color. Please add diversity to your network as there are great actress and actors of color. While there are movies out there they are not on your channel, please add something of value to all people, I find myself moving away from your network due to the lack of diversity.

I sincerely appreciate the clean themes of Hallmark movies however the leading characters are always white male and white female. Love has no color and I am sure it encourages people to see their diverse ethnicity on your channel especially when our nation is called a Melting Pot. Do better Halmark, there are so many amazing actors and actresses out there that would bring more quality and more viewers to your channel. I hope you listen, many viewers are saying the exact same thing!

The Hallmark channel and the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel both show programs and movies that I enjoy. On Verizon FIOS, in the evening both channels showed movies starting at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. That meant if I had seen the movie on one channel before, I might be able to find a movei I had not seen on the other channel at the same time.

Just this week, the movies on the Hallmark channel now begin at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. So if one has a movie I have seen, switching to the other places me in the middle of the movie. Guess I'll be watching Hallmark channels less than before.

Why I enjoy watching Hallmark Movie channel, I am going to stop watching as much as I have been doing. Basic reason is that they lack diversity in leading roles. They have lots of mystery shows with women and every leading role is for the most part white females..

I enjoy watching mysteries, especially Columbo, Monk, Diagnosis Murder, presented on the Hallmark channel. However, I am turned off by the fact that in the women of mystery movies, there are no leading Women of Color! Why is that? Women of Color are as capable of portraying heroines as Lori Loughlin, Kellie Martin, Alison Sweeney, etc. It's acting. Same complaint regarding the Christmas movies and those about love. People of Color celebrate Christmas/holidays, fall in love, have families ...

The first response most will have is, "Why don't you just turn the channel?" I do. But the concern still needs to be fairly addressed. After all, this is America and it's 2017.

The problem of pixallation on both Hallmark channels is becoming increasingly frequent. Not only is it frequent, but of long duration. In fact, sometimes it becomes so annoying that we just change channels in spite of the fact that the movie or series (like Monk) is good. Not only do you the picture, but you lose dialog, making story continuity impossible. When will this problem be fixed?

Like others who are complaining about the Christmas movies in July this year, August, last two years, I really am tired of them. Believe it or not in December people don't have to miss the Christmas movies, they just record them to watch later. We all love Hallmark channels and many like me pay extra for the Movie Mystery channel. But you are really getting exasperating when you show Murder She Wrote for 4 hours a night for the last umpteen years over and over. Also 4 hours a day of Diagnosis Murder, 4 hours of Monk.
What happened to Perry Mason? How about Simon and Simon, Remington Steele, Ironside, Rockford Files, The Fall Guy, or The Murdock Mysteries just to name a few?
Is anyone listening at Hallmark? We are tired of constant repetition. And I agree with others, some diversity is needed as far as races.

Hallmark has a schedule of unbelievable of almost 2 1/2 months of Christmas movies for the holidays, from before Halloween to the week after New Years. I am a night owl and enjoy your night time and morning mystery schedule. I depend on it as a matter of fact
And other insomniac s will agree with me I am sure. I get stressed out and very,very,very depressed during this time it ruins the season for me please consider a change in schedule. I'm very serious. I am a night owl and retired.this approach stresses me out so much and I feel many people will agree with me. We have spectrum, over the past two weeks when watching Hallmark, I can't. The voice is 2 seconds ahead and when I pause and come back the scene never changes but the voices go on. This is occurring with EVERY movie and it is nauseating to watch. If it is Spectrum ok, if it is Hallmark ok, just fix it or don't put it out there. This is awful. Tonight 5 different movies all do the same thing and last night they would not play.............then they would glitch. What is the issue?
