The Hallmark channel is inspirational and fun. (Like Home and Family Show)...but when these commercials air it is like a punch in the stomach. And I either turn off the TV or change the channel to something like PBS.

If your commercials reduce your viewership, then you lose the ad air time values. A self defeating cycle. Besides, why would you want to alienate your fans? If you don't care about us, why should we care about you?
