I know satellite dish companies will let you preview certain channels to entice you to upgrade to another level, if you like that channel. I understand this is just business. That's fine. But..........

Sometimes they tell you yes, we'll give you that channel in your package, if you'll stay with our company.
Then, about a year later, the channel disappears or is blocked. Then they say it was just a preview channel they let you watch. The previewing was supposed to be only for about one month...maybe even two months but was a technical mistake if you had it for a year!

Well, all you can do is go by their word. They don't have to do anything to be responsible for keeping that word.

I've noticed for the last three years in my Dishnetwork Package, that when it gets close to Thanksgiving/Christmas season, at least two of the channels I enjoy watching that have clean, and good Holiday movies gets blocked from my viewing...after I have been watching them for a full year. Then after January, after the new year, I will get these channels back until the next fall season.
I know these satellite companies know what each family in every home watches the most, and these are the channels they play games with, to manipulate you...motivate you into upgrading your package. Even if it's just to get you to sign up for $3.00 extra a month.

TV packages- from all of the satellite and cable companies are all out to make money, and play the drug dealer! We as customers, get caught up...and addicted to certain channels and they know it!
They manipulate strategies of what channels you watch, when you watch it, and for how long you watch it. Will there be a day when as customers, we can just say no to TV... period?
