Negative balance in my saving account

I lost my job few months ago and I have 5179 rs negative balance in my HDFC saving account. After RBI guidelines to banks for not charging maintenance amount when account touch zero. But still hdfc bank charges negative every month and now it's 5179rs. For a middle class family, it is way to much amount to just pay from harden money.

I lost my job due to which I couldn't maintain minimum balance in my HDFC account but after RBI guidelines in which it states that bank can't put negative balance on saving account and i still got negative balance of 5179 rs . For a middle class family, it is not a petty amount to pay from harden money.

LEGAL NOTICE BY HDFC

I was issued a credit card some 2-3 years back, without even applied for. Though I said I don't want the credit card the executives used to call every day to collect the same from their office. with repeated calls everyday, I had collected the same to avoid calls. I never used the credit card and even didn't activated it since I felt the need of it. After a year I got a call from HDFC that there is some outstanding in your credit card and need to be paid immediately to avoid penalties. I was quite surprised and enquired about the same as I had never used the card. On enquiring it was found that the HDFC Insurance service has linked one policy with my credit card and the outstanding is against the premium. I was astonished and asked them if I had ever applied for the insurance. The HDFC Insurance company informed that it was done automatically and there is no evidence which shows I have taken the insurance. Now yesterday HDFC credit card department has sent a legal notice to clear all the dues.

I don't understand what is all this. Why should I pay for something which I had not applied for. It was not my mistake and I should not bear the cost for it.

I would request HDFC's grievance redressal group to look into it and find a solution to the issue.

Unprofessional behaviour from credit card Customer service

This complaint is regarding my credit card payment. I have been paying my bills on time every month but unfortunately I missed one of my payment due to a death in the family and i couldn't attend the calls. I have informed their Customer Center ppl that I will be making payment ASAP .Daily they give me calls from different numbers and from one of the number 7871617584 (Vani) who was very unprofessional and interrupting ,unethical behaviour and no customer service values then made call to one of my colleague and threatened her for my number and even informed my HDFC BANK account will be freezed. I spoke to the Manager called Prasanna regarding this and first he told he needs some time to check this issue and will get back to me and he never called me back and then as usual the customer care girls started calling. I asked for the manager Prasanna, First they were not ready the call, later he picked from a conference call and told to drop an email and he don't have time to talk or solve the issue for me .This is really frustrating and disgraceful from HDFC and being a manager atleast he should concentrate on providing a better customer service.Prasanna was rude and Unapologetic. Really bad EXPERIENCE

What actions do you take on such call people to improve customer service?

When I speak to you directly face to face and you can't resolve my issue. How can you now if I just send you some reply on your given email id?

Netbanking and other services s*ks

HDFC seriously s*ks.
I was using citibank for last 5years and never faced any issues. Recently my ATM card magnetic strip was damaged because of the hard swipes on purchases and I reported the same to HDFC banker. Taking the request for the same, it is been 3weeks now and there is no response from HDFC side. I went again to the nearest branch and they asked me to go to the mother branch or call netbanking. The given number of netbanking which is suppose to work 24hours a day 9945863333 options 116 (as said by the banker) says " We work between 8am to 8pm, please call us back between this time". I'm all frustrated and bugged. I have no other options to change my bank as my company allows only HDFC accounts. My complain reference number from HDFC is EA0121587501.
Please do something about it,
