Health Insurance Innovation is a scam. I ordered Short Term Medical Coverage after my husband died and I lost insurance. Come to find out, it would not cover any of the minimum requirements for Federal Health Coverage, so I cancelled it.

They continued charging my $8.40 for 6 months, claiming it was for an accident insurance that I had also signed up for. I never agreed to this. I believe they took advantage of me during a time when my mental state was upset and I was vulnerable.

They refuse to refund any of the money. I haven't received any emails or mail from them for over 6 months, just this recurring monthly bill on my credit card.
