While searching for health insurance in May 2016, I was contacted by Health Insurance Innovations to apply for their insurance. I was informed that this is regular medical insurance. The representative assured me that it was better than Blue Cross Blue Shield, which was what I had under the Affordable Care Act, so I decided to go with Health Insurance Innovations. I only used the it when I went to St. Francis Hospital Nov. 1, 2016 at the emergency room, I was admitted from Nov. 1 - Nov. 8, 2016. While in the hospital, the billing dept. called my room and informed me that my insurance only would pay $250 per day and nothing else. I was furious. I tried to use my prescription card at the pharmacy and it may my cost more form my meds. I am so upset...after paying for this insurance it is absolutely useless!

I have been diagnosed with a kidney disease and have no medical insurance and cannot afford my medications because of these people.

Please help! I want my money back and will be penalized by the IRS because this is not real insurance. I was deceived.
