I was charged three different amounts a few months after our trip to Italy. I had no clue as to what they were for. Upon contacting Hertz (US) they told me they were fees and traffic violations but could not tell me WHERE the infraction occurred; WHAT the infraction was for or what their FEE amount was. They simply charged. Seems odd they have NO information on this but were quick to charge a fee for providing my information to the police (so they claim). I am happy to pay a legitimate fine and fees IF I know what, where and why. I keep emailing Hertz US and get nowhere.No response at all from Hertz Italiana. My charge card company has reversed on charge because it has been over 45 days and they have not responded with any information. Frustrating.
