Member of Hilton Club with home club on 6th Avenue in Manhattan. Since 2016 have reserved at home club every May and October. A married couple who are close friends always meet me and stay as my guests. As they arrive by car from one area and I buy limo bus from another we arrive at separate times. I used to simply call on the day and alert the desk that they may arrive before me and all was fine. Then about 2 years ago the desk told me a new policy had been started and I had to fill out the Guest form on line to insure security. I did so but then my friends began to note they were listed as the one reserving and my name appeared no where. This would mean if I happened to arrive first I would have had to get permission from my guests to check in ?? The desk at my club and the person covering the reservation desk both told me this was the case . First complaint is why does filling out a Guest form change who the reservation is under ? If I'm coming and have guests coming also how do I let Club know so if they arrive before me they'll be welcomed ?
