I have been a member of Hilton Grand Vacation Club for 20 plus years. We have upgraded a number of times to be able to get the time of year we want. We are told by sales personal that with the elite program we have a number of advantages over the regular vacation packages.
We purchased a upgrade to the new property in Myrtle Beach South Carolina (Oceans Enclave) we purchased the prime season and we were told we were garuntee the unit size we purchased. No one bothered to tell us we only have less than approximately a 60 day window to book our unit, after that it is first come first serve. I tried to book a 2 bed room unit in Feb. of 2019 for use in the prime time June thru August. After paying the cost of the new unit at Ocean's Enclave I was unable to get the accomadation I wanted and had to settle for 1 bed room units for our family. With the money we pay Hilton for the vacation package and the fees and dues I would like to have a room we pay for.
I ask an elite counselor what I could do and the only thing I was given was this email.
I know this is a waste of time because I doubt very seriously anyone from Hilton will contact me and try to help.
