Misleading sales
My wife and myself have been members of Hilton Grand Vacation Club for over 20 years. Over these years we have upgraded to be able to get a vacation time and accomadation that we want not just one we have to take due to not having the home weeks we purchased. Last year we upgraded to the newest property Hilton has in Myrtle Beach we also purchase the home weeks of prime season Jun through August. We were told be sales personal that since we were owners of a two bed room unit and our home week was during the summer we were guaranteed a two bed room unit. I tried to reserve a two bed room unit for this summer. I wasn't informed that we only had a very short period of time to book the room or it would be first come first serve.
I have called a number of times to see if I could change the one bed rooms I had to reserve for a two bed room but no one has any help for us. The counselers are all very polite but of very little help on this issue.
Over the years I have been a member and spent thousands of dollars with Hilton I was expecting someone to at least try and help me on this situation but as yet I have not been able to get our rooms changed from one bed rooms to a two bed rooms.
The sales personal and the Club personal need to work together and inform clients of the proper information before they take our money.
