My husband and parent were in the Home Depot store in Seguin Texas for over two hours. What they needed was an employee to help them find if they had a microwave in stock. They were told there was only one employee in that department that could help them. They were told that employee was the only one with access to the computer to find out. This employee let another customer cut in front of them and they were just BSing for a good while. The employee said "oh this lady was here before you all". The customer was not there before my parents and husband. My parent and husband were ready to spend money and leave and this customer just wanted to cut infront of them to chat. Things like this happen at Home Depot all the time. Maybe the people that are hired do not have enough education, or brain capacity to have a job. Either way, just wanted to let everyone know maybe it is time to shop strictly at lowes for things like this.

I have been employed with Home Depot of Houston store#0585 for six (6) months as a part time Customer Services Representative. I find the job interesting with plenty to learn.

I'm a retired Educator who moved to Houston from Arizona to learn how to relax. I have health issues with my heart the main concern. Therefore, I do not need a lot of stress in my life.

Recently as the beginning of November 2016, I have been placed on other duties as Cashier and Puller. This isn't what I agreed to do at Home Depot. I have spoken with everyone from Management to Human Resources. As of 11/20/16, nothing has changed. I need someone from Corporate to step in before things get out of control. I feel the drama is getting ready to start, and I do not need that in my life. I am a month away from my 55th birthday. Can we all just get alone?
