I do not understand how my credit card company can allow a HD store to put phantom charges on my credit card. It has taken over 3 weeks to get things settled for charges that should have never been on my card in the first place. How can a store have the power to charge for items they never had. And instead of taking it off they added it yet a second time. The amount of time, energy and effort that was required on my part was insane. So as I can't even add up the number of calls that were required to get this settled (I am not sure it really is, I feel I paid for things I shouldn't have) at this time I think I have paid for things I didn't owe. I have not only canceled this card and will never open one again. But I also have no intention of shopping HD again. HD was my choice place for all home improvement purchases. In the last 3 years or so I have purchased, counter tops, floors for my entire house, a refrigerator and stove and these are just the larger items. Tools, grills, plants and garage organizing, paint and painting supplies along with 3 storm doors and many other items. In other words well over 5,000.00 dollars. The treatment and attitudes from credit card reps and Merritt Island store employees have sealed this for me. And while I talked and rated most of my experiences very very high, I will now warn everyone I know about the store and the credit card. The only department that did their best was the .com people. Citi credit card company and the store are a real problem. Pamela Cairns
