Bad quality and services

I am writing to raise my very very upset moment that I ever had with HONDA services. The failure of the service centre truly bring down HONDA image. The experienced that I am facing is a continuously happening since I bought my HONDA CITY; SK4311B.

As much as I like to take it easy with the whole matter but the years of car servicing experienced that I have faced is unacceptable. I need to always bring in anger then only problem solved. My first ever HONDA car i owned. I have decided to switch to HONDA brand despite many friends raised the problem to me about the servicing. Now I am able to understand of friend's advise. I truly need to raise this to you.

I am gonna elaborate of my bad experienced that I have encountered during my servicing with BOON SIEW HONDA KOTA KINABALU SABAH MALAYSIA.

1. Staff call courtesy is very very very awful. No courtesy or friendly greetings. No reminders courtesy call for next servicing appointment made nor next booking date appointment. You cannot believed, at one time, when i sent my car for servicing, noboday aware that i have a booking made. Nothing in the system and then they hide within themselves and just deal with car.

2. Two times I have sent my cars for paint touch up due to rust pain on the body of car. TWO TIMES ! TWO SPOTS!!!! Where is the quality control??? Yet due to this problem, I have been given a very short time frame to deal with car painting touch up or else i will not be entertained according to the service centre here. Really huh...now it seems i have been given the pressure due to HONDA defective. Also, I requested to washed my car (I am prepare to pay for it). But upon collecting my car, that it was dirty (nothing at all like it has been washed and yet they told it was cleaned. Terrible. Maybe they simply splash with water and just simply wipe it for the sake of delivering.

3. FYI, I am entitled for free labour, and at one time due to no space to fix for my appointment they considered me as missing my servicing deadline and need to charge labour cost on servicing booking. How???When there is no space for me for servicing. I have called earlier for booking but the only available was fixed by them. They should have sent me to another service centre right??? Now only i discovered that there is another service centre today. After arguing, they only approve to allow me to have my labour charge free.

4. And Today, again I have to raise my voice to them due to their communication breakdown! Gosh! They wanna charge me labour fee as mentioned that during MCO(COVID 19) I didnt send my car for servicing and I have missed out. Therefore, they need to charge me labour fee for servicing when it is supposed to be free. Jeff, how?!!! How to go when MCO no space to make for booking. Worst, I just send my car for servicing today due to on the phone confirmation upon booking made to waive the labour fee( with condition that they squeeze me a space on very tight schedule and I must oblige to send on the date given which only 2 days ahead of our phone communication)....And upon registering at counter to my appointment time, they told me I need to be pay labour fee...WHY..I need to raise voice again to inform of the communication done on phone, subsequent I am here to send car for servicing as oblige to do so.

P/S: Jeff, you have to know this, prior to today's appointment, I am the one need to call them back when the last phone call to make to them on my appointment arrangement not settled and as they promised to call me back to confirm and yet nothing ....nothing ..nobody call me back for past few days till i remember it and need to call to back to find out what's the outcome of my appointment. And the staff told....Ya hooooo...nobody call you.. Sorry... Is this how i suppose to take it. With very unprofessional ways of handling phone call and in a very lazy mode or unattentive mode I have been taking care of by next appointment which is today.

Today, the attendance staff, Rossie told me reason being she needs to charge labour fee a she is not aware of the communication agreed upon and now mentioned that not only i miss our servicing during MCO date that no excuse i have also missed out another session therefore no excuse but to charge labour cost for today. (Suddenly another situation appeared make me stupid again, one more missing appointment besides MCO month). Until i raised my voice to her (cos I am really pissed now and they came back to me that they mislooked it.. I did sent car for that mentioned missing date and it is their fault that they forgotten to stamp my the servicing confirmation on the book that day and now told me that during MCO time is given as exceptional acceptance by HONDA for not able to send car for servicing.


Why Jeff, why Honda have such substandard servicing centre!! Why!!!! Where is the internal training!!!! Cant i just go they nicely and peacefully to deal with the car servicing. I have never never encountered such experienced. Goodness me at least not from HONDA. It really tarnish HONDA reputation.

I hate to deal with MANAGER of the servicing centre, no courtesy to customer at all. I don't feel that I have been appreciated as their customer at all. He better be just sitting in the room than feeling so reluctant to deal with unsatisfied customer. I can't wait till the warranty is over that I can just go to other place to settle my own servicing. I am praying hard that no more defective from this car. I am lucky that I have friends that spotted the rusted part I need to deal with it earlier.

My friends are so right, before i have decided to post it to social media. I wanna stress it to HONDA!! I want to be a happy customer not upset like now.
